Affiliate Page Overview

Affiliates are one of the core elements of the advertising campaign. On Scaleo, you can add any amount of affiliates, as well as manage them. This guide will explain how you can manage affiliates.

List of Affiliates

To see the full list of Affiliates, go to the Affiliates section after you log in to the platform.

The page includes three tabs:

  • All Affiliates;
  • My Affiliates — affiliates assigned to the specific manager;
  • Pending Affiliates — the Affiliates that must be approved first.

Additionally, you can filter the affiliates by Status, Country, Tag, and Manager.

Affiliate Details

To check the Affiliate details, in the list of Affiliates, open the Affiliate page. All the information is organized into several sections.

  • Basic Info — This section displays the Affiliate's details, such as the company name, access credentials, contact, and financial information, as well as tags, traffic types, managers, and login dates.
  • Trends — this section displays the traffic graph. You can configure it by choosing different periods and enabling/disabling metrics.
  • Quick Links — shortcuts to the main Reports sections. There are 3 Quick Links available: Statistics, Conversions, Links.
  • Top Offers — This section displays the list of the best offers that the Affiliate runs.
  • Activity Log — This section displays all the Affiliate’s activity.

Scaleo gives you an option to log in to the Affiliate page by clicking on the Login as Affiliate button.

Postbacks

Affiliate postbacks are used on the Affiliate side to track conversions outside the Scaleo system. To manage Affiliate Postbacks, go to Affiliates > select the affiliate in the list > Postbacks > Manage.

You will see the full list of available postbacks. If necessary, you can filter them by status and change their parameters. To edit the postback, select the one in the list and click on the Edit button.

To add a new postback, click Add Postback.

Select Status: Active/Pending/Inactive. Select the Active status to make the postback available immediately, Pending to save the information for later, and Inactive to disable the postback.

Select Level. Scaleo supports two types of Affiliates Postbacks:

  • Global — postback will be executed for all offers run by the Affiliate. It will work with all goals except the CPC (cost-per-click) type.
  • Offer — postback will be executed for the selected offer only. If the goal is not specified, the postback will be executed for all goals in that offer.

Select Conversion Status: All/Approved/Pending/Rejected/Trash. Postback will be executed only for the conversions with the selected status.

Select Method: Postback (Cookieless)/HTML Pixel (Cookie-Based). Learn more about them in our Attribution Methods guide.

Make sure you click Add to apply changes.

Tracking Domains

Every Scaleo Affiliate can add his domain(s) to track the conversions. To manage Affiliate Tracking Domains, go to Affiliates > select the affiliate in the list > Tracking Domains > Manage. On this page, you can filter them by status and change some of their parameters. To edit the tracking domain, select the one in the list and click on the Edit button.

To add a new Tracking Domain, click Add Domain.

Next, select the status (Active/Inactive) and enter the tracking domain link.

Make sure you click Add to apply changes.
