AppsFlyer - via Scaleo Integrated Partner (Not Recommended)

Note: This article explains how to set up Mobile App tracking using Scaleo integration with AppsFlyer. This is the easiest and the fastest way to start. However we highly recommend to become AppsFlyer Integrated Partner moving forward.

AppsFlyer is a mobile marketing analytics and attribution platform. It determines which affiliates and  channels delivered each app install and in-app events. Scaleo works seamlessly with AppsFlyer and brings you the analytics in real time. You can use Scaleo Integrated Partner on AppsFlyer to start tracking instantly. If you want to register your company as Integration Partner on AppsFlyer, you can use the instruction at the end of this article.

AppsFlyer Configuration

Login to your AppsFlyer account and go to Integrated Partners section and search for Scaleo.

Select Scaleo integrated partner and set your Scaleo Tracking Domain as your main tracking domain.

Please make sure you use Tracking Link Domain, not Interface Domain. For example: company.scaletrk.com

For In-app Events Tracking. Scroll to this section

• set Scaleo Tracking Domain as above
• click Add Event button, select Event you want to track
• enter Scaleo Goal ID (can be found at Scaleo, Offer - Goals section) into Partner Event Identifier field (instead Scaleo Goal ID you can enter Scaleo Goal Alias)
• if you have CPS (share base) goal or you want to record sales amount, you need to check Send Revenue checkbox.

All is set now. Save your integration. Go to Attribution Link tab, copy the link and enter it to Scaleo Offer Destination URL.

Testing>

Generate tracking link in Scaleo, send it into your test device. It is recommended to use clean (not used before) device for every new test.

The conversion should be recorded at AppsFlyer first, then you will be able to see it in Scaleo.

Check Statistics – Transactions section for the details (make sure to choose the "Click ID" in the "Output Parameters"). The Click ID value should contain 32 alpha-numeric characters and If it is not, please check Landing Page URL, it should contain the {click_id} or {hash} token.
