Affiliates / Advertisers Sign Up Offer and UTM Tags

If you are looking to grow and expand your Affiliate Network, it is essential to attract new Affiliates / Advertisers to sign up on your Network.

With Scaleo, it is possible to create a Sign Up Offer and use that offer to track the sources of new Sign Ups.

How does it work?

To do this, it is sufficient to use the registration page as a landing page. 

Note: Just so you know, the click_id macros must be used.

In addition to this, you can use UTM tags to track the source of Affiliate and Advertiser registrations.

Use UTM tags for the Affiliates and/or Advertisers Sign Up pages:

  • utm_source
  • utm_medium
  • utm_campaign
  • utm_term
  • utm_content

Example:

https://workspace.scaletrk.com/signup/affiliate?utm_source=google&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=test&utm_term=scaleo&utm_content=banner&click_id={click_id}

After a successful registration of the Affiliate or Advertiser, the data with UTM tags will be displayed in the user's details (if any was filled in).

Also, if the click_id parameter was passed during the registration - a conversion will be logged. Please note, that the email of the newly registered Affiliate or Advertiser will be recorded in the created conversion.
