Manual Transaction Upload and Updates

This article explains how to manually upload and update transactions, including updating statuses, modifying payouts, importing conversions without clicks, and performing bulk import and updates using CSV files.

Bulk Inline Updates for Statuses and Payouts

For quick updates of a single conversion status, the web interface provides an option to select a new status directly via the UI. The change is applied immediately and updates the conversion.

Additionally, it is possible to select up to 100 conversions per page and update their status using a bulk action.

For quick updates of payout and revenue, the platform allows selecting the required conversions and updating their amounts.

This applies not only to goals with fixed payouts but also to goals where the payout is calculated as a percentage of the sale amount. Revenue and payout can be updated for goals with CPS and RevShare types without changing the sale or deposit amount.

Any interaction involving conversion updates via the UI will prompt the manager to confirm whether affiliate postbacks should be triggered.
By default, postback triggering is enabled.

To prevent sending affiliate postbacks, the manager needs to uncheck the postback option before confirming the update.

⚠️ Important

  • Only conversions that are not part of an invoice can be updated
  • Changes cannot be reverted β€” only corrected by performing another update to restore previous values

πŸ“ Notes Field

When performing bulk updates of statuses or payouts, managers can specify a reason in the Notes field.

  • Notes are visible to affiliates (read-only)
  • Managers have full access (read and edit)

This helps maintain transparency and track the reason for any changes.

Change Status

In the Transactions section, the Adjustments tab provides options for updating and importing conversions.

The first option is status update: Change Status. Select the new status for your conversions β€” by default, Approved is preselected. Next, define the conditions. You can specify a time period (day, week, or month) for which conversions need to be updated. Select the current conversion status that should be updated to a new status. You can also select an offer and its goal if the task applies to a specific offer only.

Affiliate postback trigger is enabled by default. This means the system will automatically trigger affiliate postbacks if their settings match the new conversion status.

There are also additional conditions available, such as click IDs and transaction IDs. These should be provided as a list, with each value on a new line. Do not use commas or spaces between values, and avoid adding spaces at the end of the last value β€” otherwise, the system will ignore the list and update 0 records.
The list of click IDs or transaction IDs can contain up to 1,000 values. If no click ID or transaction ID conditions are specified, the system will update a maximum of 9,999 records per task.

⚠️ Please note: adjustments cannot be reverted or undone. However, a task can be removed from the queue before the system starts processing it.

The transaction ID condition should not be confused with the track ID condition β€” these are two different parameters in the system:

  • Transaction ID β€” a unique conversion identifier generated by Scaleo
  • Track ID β€” an external order/transaction ID received from the advertiser via postback

Since the transaction ID is a unique identifier, it can be used as a standalone condition without selecting an offer or goal. In this case, the system will update the specific transaction associated with that ID.

Change Payouts

Payout Update is the second option. It allows you to quickly update revenue and payout for an offer goal.
You can apply updates based on a specific time period, conversion status, click ID, or transaction ID.
Unlike other options, this feature does not trigger affiliate postbacks.

If no click ID or transaction ID conditions are specified, a maximum of 9,999 records can be updated per task. When using a list of click IDs or transaction IDs, the limit is 1,000 records per task.

⚠️ Please note: adjustments cannot be reverted. Once applied, the changes cannot be undone β€” you can only submit a new task to modify the data again.
While the task is still in the queue and has not yet been processed, it can be deleted.

Note: Fractional numbers must be entered using a dot (.). Any other symbol (e.g., a comma) will not be accepted.

Enter click IDs and transaction IDs as a list, placing each value on a new line. Avoid using commas or spaces between entries, and make sure there are no extra spaces at the end β€” otherwise, the system will not process the list and no records will be updated.

Insert Conversions

The third option is conversion import for a selected affiliate under a specified offer and its goal. Conversions are imported without clicks.

The following parameters are required: affiliate, offer, goal, number of conversions, and conversion status.
The creation date will be the same for all imported conversions β€” the selected date in the settings, with the time set to 12:00.

Any number of conversions can be specified. However, exceeding 10,000–15,000 is not recommended, as larger volumes may significantly increase task processing time. Import conversions in reasonable volumes.

In addition to the required parameters, advertiser-related values can be provided for all conversions, including:

  • Advertiser Parameters 1–5
  • Order ID
  • Track ID
  • User ID
  • Amount (order, sale, or deposit value)

Affiliate-related parameters can also be included:

  • Affiliate Parameters 1–5

These parameters are most relevant when importing a single conversion, where specific values are required. ⚠️When importing multiple conversions, identical values will be applied to all records.

⚠️ Important:

  • CSV must follow the correct format
  • Incorrect data may affect reporting and payouts

πŸ›‘οΈ Best Practice

βœ… Before making bulk changes:

  • Export data as a backup
  • Double-check filters

βœ… When using CSV:

  • Test with 5–10 rows first
  • Use a validated template

βœ… After updates:

  • Review reports
  • Compare before/after values
